Shia started taking 'Shia baby' food supplement at the age of 5 months on account of her allergy to cow's milk and soy milk as described. Due to a legal requirement that food supplements can be consumed by children from the age of 6 months, it is best to observe the child's eating behaviour closely to decide when and if to supplement in consultation with a doctor when it comes to taking any food supplements.

'Shia baby' is perhaps an all the more attractive alternative for parents in an era when work pre-occupation is so much a factor. The 'Shia baby' drink in a bottle is easy to take with you and makes for easy consumption due to its compact design using a glass bottle - just open it and pour into a baby's milk bottle or sippy cup (depending on the child's ability) and you are good to go - especially when in a car or crowded areas.

Shia's history and others.

Shia was born on May 19, 2552 at 0927 hours at Bangkok Hospital in Phuket, under the supervision of Dr. Supakrit Samranchaikorn and pediatrician Dr. Santi Chotikun. Dr Santi had a hand in helping 'Shia baby' obtain the requisite certification from the Health Ministry having confirmed Shia's allergy to cow's milk and soy protein and having observed her intake of 'Shia baby' formula over specific periods of time resulting in the FDA's acceptance of 'Shia baby' as a product for infants and young children allowing for its classification as a food type in 3 classes as follows:
  1. A food formula for infants and young children.

  2. A medicinal food for infants and young children.

  3. A dietary food supplement for infants and young children.
At present, Shia baby has been approved by the Ministry of Public Health as a food supplement for infants and young children, essentially the first of its kind for this classification with FDA approval Notification No. 83-1-06354-1-0001. The owner and development team continues to work to produce a quality product suitable as a food supplement for infants and young children.

Shia was also under the supervision of a number of doctors like Dr. Noppadon of Bangkok Hospital (who had a role in helping create the dietary formula for this kind of food supplement), and Dr. Pat and Dr. Pan from Siriroj Hospital Phuket who both provided valuable insights on consumption of food supplements in infants in particular the case of Shia. A specialist from Phra Mongkut Medical hospital did a blood test on Shia with invaluable recommendations on what Shia's mother and baby Shia herself should do in light of her hitherto allergic condition.

The entire process provided important information, insights and measurable results leading to the conception of 'Shia baby' as a food supplement for infants and young children - contact us today!
